Christine Jurgens 2019 Minnesota 3A 1st Team All-State

On Wednesday November 6th at the Minnesota Volleyball State Banquet Christine Jurgens was selected to 1st team All State. The elite group 1st team of 14 is joined by 8 honorable mention, to make up the 3A (large school) All State Team.

Eagan High School Loses to Wayzata in a 5 Set Thriller in the State Final

Eagan dropped the 5th set 16-14 to lose to Wayzata in the State 3A Championship. Christine finished with 11 kills hitting .242 with 2 blocks. For the tournament Christine had 31 kills hitting .256, 6 blocks and 17 digs.

Eagan High School Advances to State Final

Eagan wins a 5 set thriller over Minnetonka to advance to the State Championship. Christine Jurgens finished the match with 13 kills and a .303 hitting average. Both kill total and average are 2nd on the team.

Eagan High School Advances to State Semi Final
Eagan High School wins the quarter final match against St. Louis Park in straight sets 3-0. Christine Jurgens had 7 kills in 24 attempts with 2 errors, 9 digs and 2 blocks. Eagan takes on Minnetonka in the semi final this morning at 9AM.

Eagan High School First Seed 3A State
Eagan High School wins section 3 to advance to state for the 7th consecutive year. The Eagan High School volleyball team also went undefeated for the first time in school history. The team lost a total of 6 sets through the season to finish 29-0. AVCA ranking has them 2nd in the nation.
